Vehicle Decals:
Decals are issued for vehicles owned by residents who are registered at the business office as unit owners, occupants (1 year guests) or lessees.
Once verified, residents can bring their vehicle registration, proof of insurance and their Kings Point ID badge to the visitors lane of the Main Gate to receive a decal. Decals will be issued daily from 3:30-9:00 p.m. A security officer will place the decal on the lower left hand corner of the vehicle’s windshield.
Lessee decals are valid 6 months up to 2 years depending on the lease agreement.
Golf Carts:
Golf carts must obey the same motor vehicle laws as other vehicles. Resident owned golf carts are requested to register for Kings Point Decals. A resident must have their badge and golf cart serial number to receive their decal. Decals are available at the Main Gate visitors lane. Decals will not be issued between 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
Handicapped decals are available for residents presenting their handicap place card. Golf cart handicap parking decals are not valid outside of Kings Point. A Golf Cart handbook is available at the SCC Chamber of Commerce that cover rules, laws and area golf cart path maps.
Golf carts are NOT allowed on SR 674 and may only cross at designated intersections:
- SR 674 and Kings Blvd./Valley Forge
- SR 674 and Trinity Lakes Dr./Sun City Center Plaza
- SR 674 and Pebble Beach Blvd.
- SR 674 and Stoneham Drive
The Kings Point entry/exit golf cart path located at the front entrance area is secured by a remote gate arm and requires residents to use their badge to enter Kings Point. Residents may use the intercom system available at the golf cart gate to request officer assistance as needed.
